Assuming that I would have a windfall of $10,000,000 – I will want to acquire some real estate. The goal will be to buy undervalued buildings, gut and renovate them. Once they are ready for tenants, I will then offer them to those on the HUD’s Section-8 program (with possible exceptions). This will be to address the significant shortage of housing willing to cater to Section-8 tenants. I knew when I had Section-8, it took me months to find the apartments I found, and I was lucky to have found them in the first place. I want to make a positive contribution to those that need housing the most.

Since there will be a convenience store on the first floor, and I will live on the third and fourth floors, it will make sense to include my realty company on the second floor.
The hours of operation is Monday-Friday from 8AM-4PM. The employees are to come in at 7:30AM, and leave at 4:30PM. Each employee will work 8 hour + have 1 hour for lunch. Since they work Monday – Friday, that would be 40 hour weeks. This is ideal for employees that may have to rely on public transit since the buses they will use will operate on rush hour service which increases the number of buses operating for many routes.
As for telephony communications, the same number for voice calls will be the same for faxes. I and the maintenance person will have a SIP client installed on their phone so when making calls to clients, they will see the realty’s phone number. This means no direct line for the employee. The receptionist will handle incoming calls, and direct them to the appropriate person if the need arises.
