Telephone Numbers

I will need a number of telephone numbers. There will be my personal numbers, the home’s telephone numbers, and business numbers for all of the businesses I will have. Each telephone number(s) will serve a role and purpose. This page will go into the rationale of why I will have the numbers.

The first set of numbers will be my personal numbers. All together, there will be 5 of them, and they will all hold some rationale, and purpose. I have a dedicated website for this scenario if you wish to read further by going to My Ideal Phone Setup.

I will choose to reacquire Ooma telephone service for my home phone line. This will be different than using my personal line. For example, the intercom system will ring the home phone, and not the personal cellular number. If I was to order a pizza, I would use the home phone to make the call. If I have an issue with a utility company, I will use the home phone to make the call (with exception to Internet or home phone issues). If I was to foster children, they will have access to the home phone line, but not the private phone lines that are respective to me.

The convenience store will have a single telephone line for calls. The POS (Point Of Sale) machine will connect via LAN rather than telephone. This will be intended to modernize the credit processing system. There will be a telephone number for the convenience store, but in realty, there is no real reason to call it. About the only thing I could think of that the cashier will be able to answer will be the address of the store. Outgoing calls will also likely be minimal. The convenience store will have its own dedicated account for tax and E911 purposes. Since Verizon no longer provides POTS phone serve, the telephone line will be SIP/VOIP as with all of the other lines.
