The PMB (Private MailBox) will be where I will designate almost all of my mail to go to. The only exceptions will be my PA ID (driver’s license), Passports, and my voter registration card. Those 3 items will go to my home address. This will be good since I will also need to provide these documents as proof of residency with the PMB every year.
There are 2 reasons for the PMB. Reason 1 is for privacy. I wouldn’t want 8 Billion people knowing where I live. Anytime I have to disclose my address, it would be this address that I will provide. There is likely no good reason for me to have to give out my residence address. The second reason is for package security. With my luck, the carrier will just sit the package on the sidewalk in front of the door, and leave. With it going to the PMB, the carrier will hand the package to the PMB employee. They will process it, and notify me via email that they have a package for me. I will go the next day to collect the package.
