There is the standard OTA (Over The Air) television channels. These are free and just requires a good enough antenna. On the roof of the elevator room will provide for an OTA connection, and with more than 50 channels, it should meet most if not all of my TV watching. Technically, I could just work with what I would have now, and not need anything else. However, while I don’t need anything else, I will have 2 different providers that I would use for TV viewing.
The first is Netflix. I will choose the cheapest non-ad version of Netflix. I don’t feel if you are paying for a service, you should have to deal with ads. While I could afford services such as cable TV, or Sling, I simply don’t see the need for such services. Obviously, if I had a partner, or foster children, they could acquire Sling services for their TV, but I will not have cable TV installed. I do not find value in paying to rent a cable box that is needed to receive services.
