Fax Email Service

For the e-fax system to work properly, I will need an email domain that would support a catch-all email service. This is so I don’t have to enter every nxx-nxx-xxxx telephone number into the service, and eventually bog down the email server with so many unrealistic number of aliases. The system will just need one email account and then the catch-all will send to that one email address. The telephony server will check that email account for any email. If it sees a valid address, and from me – the telephony server will process the email, and send the .pdf file as a fax to the destination. In example, I will have to send an email to 14125551262@domain.tld for the telephony server to send the .pdf file as a fax to 412-555-1262.

Anyone sending a fax to me, the telephony server will collect the fax, and convert it to a .pdf file before sending it to me as an email. If it’s not important, I can simply delete the email. If it is important enough to print, then I can print the fax just as I would do with any other .pdf file.
